It’s not about perfection.

Letting go of the idea of perfection is the key to unlocking yourself from shame, anger, depression, and anxiety.

Those are some loaded words—kind of scary, I know, but what it all basically means is that when we let go of what we think should be we can focus and appreciate what is.

We can realize our strengths and build on them, enabling us to free ourselves from the pain we are feeling and allow us to experience the joy that we so often miss out on.

About Me

My path as a therapist began over ten years ago.

It started on a trip to Guatemala. On this journey I was inspired to reach out and support those who were suffering from trauma, abusive relationships, and depression.

When I returned to the United States, I began to taking action with local crisis centers, volunteering with women’s shelters, and gaining certifications in crisis counseling.

From there my passion grew and I have continued to expand and hone my skills working with an eclectic mix of people from diverse backgrounds with varied needs.

Today, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with National Certification as well as Coach, and for years, I have been working with people from all walks of life who inspire me through their courage to confront their challenges and learn more about themselves.

When I created Transformative Healing Therapy, I wanted it to be a place of truth telling, acceptance, growth, and transformation.

This philosophy is a part of everything we do together, and I hope we can create a space where you feel valued, seen, and appreciated for everything you are now and wholeheartedly encouraged to work toward your hopes and dreams for the future.
